TY - JOUR N2 - Two new species of desmosomatid isopods, Eugerdella margaretae sp. n. and Eugerdella celata sp. n. are described from Admiralty Bay, King George Island, South Shetlands. Information is added to the original description of Eugerdella falklandica (Nordenstam, 1933) based on re−examination of the holotype. Both new species are similar to E. falklandica, for example by the body shape, the shape of pleotelson and presence of rows of four horn−like spines on the head. They are distinguished from E. falklandica by the number of setae on pereopod articles. Eugerdella celata sp. n. is distinguished by the presence of ventral spines on pereonites 1–4 L1 - http://www.czasopisma.pan.pl/Content/99505/PDF/10183_Volume32_Issue4_02_article.pdf L2 - http://www.czasopisma.pan.pl/Content/99505 PY - 2011 IS - No 4 EP - 340 DO - 10.2478/v10183−011−0022−8 KW - Antarctic KW - South Shetland Islands KW - Isopoda KW - Desmosomatidae KW - Eugerdella A1 - Zemko, Karol A1 - Brix, Saskia PB - Polish Academy of Sciences PB - Committee on Polar Research DA - 2011 T1 - New species of desmosomatid isopods from Admiralty Bay, King George Island SP - 321 UR - http://www.czasopisma.pan.pl/dlibra/publication/edition/99505 T2 - Polish Polar Research ER -
