Abstract

Having established students` life values, the role of religion in its structure, it is possible to predict the future development of society. The purpose of this study is to analyse the religious value orientations influence on student society and to determine the influence nature of religious orientations in the system of value orientations on the daily behaviour of students. This study is based on the research of students' religious orientations in the Tyumen region conducted in 2021. The study was conducted in the context of a basic long-term research of the student's value priorities in the Tyumen region. The methodological basis of the research is the key provisions of social philosophy, sociology and psychology of religion, sociology of personality, sociology of youth and social psychology. Based on the results of an empirical study, the authors characterised the religiosity of the modern youth and determined the impact nature of religious orientations on everyday behaviour. The practical significance of the study is that the empirical data obtained can be used by civil society to prevent the spread of radical religious ideas among students, to involve the data in the activities of organisations dealing with extremism. The results obtained in the course of the study allow developing interaction projects between universities, student associations, and religious associations in the implementation of numerous state youth policy areas, which sets the "possible impact" boundaries of religious associations on cooperation with students.

Abstract

Our scientific research is based on the monitoring of ions before and after filtration of groundwaters in the water plant of Velekinca in the municipality of Gjilan, Kosovo. Sandy filters are the most commonly used industrial filters in surface – and groundwater industries. The reason is their low construction cost and high processing capacity. In our scientific re-search, sand filters used in the plant do not have perfect filtration, so we can monitor results before filtration (BF) and after filtration (AF) by determining the concentration of some ions and molecules. The following average concentrations have described: Ca2+ (BF: 83.42, AF: 83.19) mg·dm–3, Mg2+ (BF: 35.59, AF: 34.35) mg·dm–3, Cl– (BF: 28.018, AF: 28.73) mg·dm–3, SO42– (BF: 42.76, AF: 44.46) mg·dm–3, HCO3– (BF: 410.9, AF: 404.81) mg·dm–3, A-HCl (BF: 6.73, AF: 6.63) ml-HCl, GH (BF: 19.94, AF: 19.62) °dH, CS (BF: 18.87, AF: 18.5) °dH and NO2– (BF: 0.0033, AF: 0.0022) mg·dm–3. Be-ing scientific researchers in the field of water treatment technology, we have concluded that ions create an affinity for sand particles. They attach to each other by creating an ion-sand particle physical chain. According to our scientific research, sand filters are difficult to guarantee a high quality of water processing.

Abstract

Because of hydraulic jump, the scour downstream a stepped spillway is the most confusing issue that endangers the overall stability of the spillway. In this paper, thirty-six exploratory runs are described to explore the impact of utilizing submerged water jets fixed in the stilling basin of a stepped spillway on the downstream scour measurements under various flow conditions. A smooth apron where the water jets are disabled is incorporated to characterize the impact of adjustments studied. Trials are performed utilizing different upstream discharges, jets arrangements, and tailwater depths. The results are analyzed and graphically presented. The experimental data are contrasted to a scour formulae developed by other specialists. Outcomes indicated that by utilizing submerged floor water jets, the maximum scour depth is decreased between 14.3 and 36.0%. Additionally, the maximum scour length is reduced by 9.7 to 42.3%. Finally, involving regression analysis, simple formulas are developed to estimate different scour parameters.
